I'm really looking for the childhood love-interest (can be younger or older), the "Terry"/bully-figure, people Luke helped with fixing bicycles, computers, and so on, friendlies who kept an eye on his parents while Luke was gone, (ex-)bullies, people that will go house hunting with him and anything else you can come up with of course.

If June would have been older she would have been a Grade A option for the secret crush, but now it feels a bit creepy. But of course, he could have been a regular everything-fixer in the Coombs house or something. I want/would like everyone to know the Nimes kid that fixed everything and be surprised when he turns out like this.

Aw, that would have been sweet. Yeah, I think, unless we get another young one, I'll keep June single and flirty because otherwise it definitely gets uncomfortable. But yeah, Moira will totally know Luke and totally calls him for technology stuff cause she's rubbish at it.

I'm aiming for crazy little wunderkind, so maybe around 16 he already did forensic/tech things he shouldn't be meddling with. Or just fixed the coffee machine all the time.

Hmmm, that would have been before Levi was at the department. Maybe when he came home on holidays while at college he did stuff too?

It could well be that Luke was super impressed/frightened by/with Levi so maybe his mom just told him to show up for helping.

I noticed Terry did the whole Silicon Valley thing, would he/you like to have had him work for one of Essie's family's companies? Her father and grandfather made a killing in the Valley and they own pieces (or entire) companies. She wouldn't have met them because she leaves the control to the various CEOs and corporate drones that run them, but they all ultimately answer to her so he'd probably at least know her name?

Oh yes, sure! He can recognize the family name and be half puppy-thrilled to meet her, half-terrified about the ultimate boss person.

He'll start bringing up new ideas until he realizes that he's supposed to have a sabbatical.

Eh. Right now he's on the Boardwalk/Shea's intro post so she can just walk into him. Else just with the next event post, he's looking for houses so around town a lot.

Probably the next event post? IDK, I'm going to SDCC this next weekend so my schedule's pretty crazy. Or something private, like he sees her looking at listings at a cafe somewhere?

Sure, sure. I have absence coming up on while. We have all the time in the world. You think the companies would have pictures of her?

... probably not. Her father and grandfather "died" when she was four and the relative who raised her was a bit obsessive about shielding her from things. She would be listed as the primary share-holder of, oh let's call it Wakewood Holdings that would own all the little startups and whatever the family had accumulated. Not overly public, but employees would know the company that owned them. And likely the fact that as long as they kept making money, that company didn't really interfere.

ACTUALLY - I think I'm going to do a post with her tonight. A bit ill-timed, but you're welcome to tag it whenever you're available. She'll be meeting with her lawyer and they'll be (relatively) easy to overhear.

He can't *not* ignore anything until he gets to the bottom of it, so he probably read every public thing/paper/file about the company he worked for and/but will make the Wakewood connection pretty soon either way.

Actually, while Jacob's maybe a bit too old to remember much of Luke, Luke's really close in age to his sister Lena, so the two of them might have been friends.

Oh I'd appreciate a sole friend where he could be safe. Jacob could know him of the weird kid that visited way too often or something, because Luke's parents were so happy with the friendship with Lena.
